Classes are typically 2 hours long. The subject matter for typical classes are the basics of classic cocktails and bitters and the techniques and history that brought mixology to where it is today. The difference between the two classes is that our 101 class is a lecture-style experience with our guests learning from an instructor who is working behind the bar. Our 201 class is much more interactive with the opportunity to step behind the bar and learn the techniques and material hands-on. The 201 classes also include light snacks and an Amor y Amargo gift take-away for each guest.
